About Us

I am finally coming home! Born and raised in nearby West Virginia, I met my husband Dang in Colorado. He is originally from Thailand and has been here in the States for 30 years. After getting married in 1985, we relocated to the Big Island in Hawaii. Over the past 20 years, we have traveled, worked, and perfected our skills in many of the 5 Star Resorts found here. Dang has worked for the Mauna Lani Resort for the past 18 years.

While in the islands, we have been blessed with 3 beautiful children. Our eldest, Rebecca, is attending Wingate University in nearby Charlotte. Twin boys, Ryan and Raja, are enrolled at Flat Rock Middle School and plan to be very active in the nearby Flat Rock Playhouse Theater.

While vacationing in North Carolina, we looked at several bed and breakfasts in the area. On a tip from the locals, we drove into Flat Rock and the Flat Rock Inn "found us!" After visiting with Dennis and Sandi (the previous owners), we decided to purchase the property. We fell in love with the house, the folks in Flat Rock and Hendersonville, and the beautiful area in the Foothills of the Smoky Mountains.

Both Dang and I, and the rest of our extended family in West Virginia are very excited to be reunited here on the Mainland. We have been in Hawaii for 20 years and it's time to come home.

Fate, a little luck, and a lot of faith, have brought us to this beautiful place. We would like to invite you into our home and make it a memorable experience. Flat Rock is rich in history and there is something for everyone here!
